Deposit Contract

We are so excited to add you to our list of future families. To finalize your deposit, complete the information below and send it with your deposit to Blue Ridge Miniature Schnauzers (from here forward, referred to as BRMS).

Purchase price of puppy is $_____, less deposit of $500.00 = balance due of $______ due in cash on the day of pick up. We accept personal checks for deposits only. Balance must be paid in cash. 

Pick up date will be given once the puppies are born. This is usually seven weeks after birth or until the seller feels the puppy is ready to leave. We do not keep puppies past pick-up day, unless arrangements have been made ahead of time. A fee of $25 per day will be charged for keeping a puppy past pick-up day. If a purchaser fails to arrive to pick up their puppy and does not attempt to connect with BRMS, the puppy will placed with another family and no refund on the deposit will be given.

This non-refundable deposit signifies intent on the behalf of the purchaser to follow through with the purchase transaction of the puppy. Seller reserves the right to void this transaction for any reason. If a tragic accident were to occur, and the puppy should die before it goes home and another puppy is not available within a reasonable amount of time, the deposit will be returned, or the buyer given the options to apply the deposit to the next available litter.

By signing this contract, the BUYER understands that puppy will be picked up at our home on the date BRMS provides for pick-up (at a time chosen by the SELLER).  BRMS reserves the right to extend the pickup date. BRMS also reserves the right to cancel this agreement at any time if they find reason to believe that the puppy’s health may be in jeopardy in the new home.

LIMITED REGISTRATION: By signing this agreement, you agree to have this dog Neutered/Spayed by the age of nine months. Pet puppies are sold with limited AKC reg and are not to be used for breeding. Seller is not responsible for the spaying or neutering of this puppy or any other veterinary procedure. 

Blue Ridge Miniature Schnauzers is not responsible for any medical expenses or have any other responsibility financially or legally after the puppy leaves our property.
